By accessing or using Game4Together, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Game4Together platform, including our website, desktop application, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Account Registration

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Not share your account with any other person
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Game4Together offers free and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • We use third-party payment processors (Stripe) and do not store full credit card details
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Upon cancellation, paid features remain active until the end of your billing period
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
  • Prices may change with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Scrape or collect user data without authorization
  • Use the Service to stream or share copyrighted content without a license
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions

Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action where appropriate.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

The Game4Together platform, including its design, logo, software, and branding, is owned by Game4Together Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

When you post or share content through our Service (e.g., room descriptions, chat messages), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for operating and improving the Service. You retain ownership of your content.

You are responsible for ensuring that any third-party content you share (game video, music, etc.) is done so in compliance with applicable copyright laws.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Game availability depends on third-party factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Game4Together shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion for violations of these Terms, without prior notice. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware, unless you opt out within 30 days of accepting these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or a prominent notice on our platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
